Our Educational Therapists – Speech and Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Pragmatics Specialists, School Counselor, Executive Function and Life Skills Coaches, Educational Technologist – are on staff, interact with all students, share insights during faculty meetings, and offer in-service trainings to faculty.
Greenwood offers individual tutorials and/or group sessions to students who demonstrate a specific need. These direct services are individualized to students’ learning styles and coordinated with teachers and curriculum.
With the small number of students in the community, and with our industry-leading 2:1 student:teacher ratio, all teachers and specialists are “experts” on each student. No student “slips through the cracks” at Greenwood; the depth and breadth of knowledge brought to the table to discuss students and problem-solve is unmatched.
Highly trained and specialized Educational Therapists enrich our school in many ways and ensure we offer the most effective, innovative, and coordinated program possible for each student.
