The Greenwood School: The Preeminent Boarding School for Boys with Learning Differences

Computers are an important tool for the student who has spelling and expressive writing difficulties. Greenwood recognizes this and provides enough computers that are Internet accessible, with the appropriate web filters in place, so that a student generally has access to one when needed.
Students use these computers for a variety of reasons including:
- To learn keyboard skills (taught in the language tutorials and writing classes)
- To use appropriate speech-to-text technology to assist them with expressive writing
- To practice math facts
- To encourage students to use the Internet for research projects in different classes (Each student has his own e-mail account for communicating with family and friends.)
- For other problem solving endeavors
