The Copper Kettle Bed And Breakfast (2.5 miles)
The Copper Kettle Bed and Breakfast is less than 2 miles from Exit 4 off Interstate 91, yet affords a quiet, relaxing atmosphere in a Vermont country setting. Directions: I-91 North to Exit 4. At the end of the ramp, turn left. Go up hill about ¼ mile. At the stop sign, bear right onto U.S. Route 5 North to Putney Village. Travel about ½ mile. In thecenter of the village, see Putney General Store. Turn left at store onto Westminster Rd., go up hill and continue about 1 mile. See elementary school on right, followed by an athletic field. Take the next left at West Hill Road. Your will see a small sign for The Copper Kettle B&B, which is the second house on the right, immediately after Cross Road.

The Ranney-Crawford House (6 miles)
Close to the center of Putney, Vermont, this elegant 1810 brick Federal manor house is set on a scenic country road surrounded by farms, meadows, and lawns. The house has been lovingly restored, retaining many original features. Spacious bedrooms are bright and airy, with period furnishings. All four have private baths. Two bedrooms have fireplaces and large sitting areas. Full breakfast included. No pets allowed.

Latchis Hotel & Theater  (10 miles)

40 Putney Road (9.5 miles)
Forty Putney Road is an elegant French Provincial estate overlooking the West River and just an easy ten-minute walk to downtown Brattleboro. Our Inn has four spacious bedrooms on the second floor of the main house, plus a detached, self-contained cottage. All rooms have queen-sized beds, private baths with tub and shower, TV/VCR, AC, ceiling fans, bathrobes, hair dryers, irons, phones, and Caswell-Massey amenities.  A delicious, full Vermont breakfast is served each day. The Meadowlark Inn (10.5 miles)

Directions: I-91 to Exit 4 (Putney). At the end of the ramp, take Route 5 South. Travel approximately 2.3 miles to Schoolhouse Road on your right. Turn right onto Schoolhouse Road and stay on the main road right (this becomes East-West Road) until you reach the stop sign at the four-way intersection in Dummerston Center. Go across the intersection (bear slightly to left) and continue on East-West Road to the covered bridge. Cross the covered bridge to meet Route 30. Turn right onto Route 30 and travel 4 miles north to Newfane. You will see a pretty village green on your left, with a large four-columned courthouse at one end of the green. Moore’s Inn  (14 miles)
Our Inn is listed in the National Historic Register as the “village’s finest Queen Anne home”. The six second floor rooms are all equipped with telephones, cable TVs, refrigerators, coffee makers and private baths. Coffee and breakfast cereals are available in the rooms. The third floor has three guest rooms that share a living room, kitchen and bath. These rooms are available individually or as a unit. Short-term apartment rental is available. Room rates are for two or more nights. One night rates are higher. Some weekend rates are higher.

The Old Tavern (21.5 miles)
The Old Tavern hides in one of New England’s most idyllic picture-book hamlets.
