Turn right onto Schoolhouse Road and stay on the main road right (this becomes East-West Road) until you reach the stop sign at the four-way intersection in Dummerston Center. Go across the intersection (bear slightly to left) and continue on East-West Road to the covered bridge. Cross the covered bridge to meet Route 30. Turn right onto Route 30 and travel 4 miles north to Newfane. You will see a pretty village green on your left, with a large four-columned courthouse at one end of the green. The Four Columns Inn is located behind the courthouse.

I-91 North to Exit #2 in Brattleboro, VT. At the exit ramp turn right onto VT, Rt. #9 West and go 19 miles to Wilmington. At the first light in Wilmington, turn right onto VT Rt. #100 North to West Dover. After about 5.5 miles you'll go around a sharp corner (just past the Red Oak Inn). Our sign is just ahead on the left. Turn left at our sign. The road splits three ways very quickly after taking that turn. TAKE THE MIDDLE ROAD. (There is a sign but there is no light to the sign, so at night it is hard to see.)
