Like many other schools, Greenwood has rules about appropriate school dress. Our intention is to be reasonably flexible so that parents will not have to purchase a whole new wardrobe to meet our guidelines. New clothing styles are fine as long as they do not cause distraction.
Unless a student earns dress-down via the credit system, during academic hours he must wear pants (i.e. khakis, corduroys) or nice jeans, a belt, and a tucked-in collared shirt. Clothes must fit properly (not too baggy, too big, or too loose), and must be free of holes, tears or fraying.
A jacket and tie, with a dress shirt, pants and shoes, are required at occasional special events.
