  • Digital Arts Instructor

     
    The Greenwood school is looking for a dynamic Digital Arts teacher to join its visual arts department as a part-time instructor (1 to 2 afternoon or evening classes per week), effective mid September 2021. This position will provide students with a curriculum that embraces digital art design. The position reports to the Director of Visual Arts. The class will be for students with a developed interest who have already gained proficiency and wish to expand their skills.

    Requirements:
     
    • A successful candidate will be prepared to teach a comprehensive and innovative curriculum in a studio-based setting
    • Experience in teaching digital photography, editing and graphic design
    • Establish goals and learning objectives for courses of study
    • Maintains discipline, realistic rules of conduct, and a suitable learning environment in the classroom and on campus
    • Evaluate student progress and performance
    • Participate in maintaining a digital student art portfolio

  • Evening Team Member


    The Greenwood School seeks an enthusiastic, reliable applicant to serve on its evening team. The evening team works Sunday-Thursday evenings from 5:30-10:30pm. During the week, evening team members help students develop greater life skills, lead nightly activities, provide supervision, and facilitate floor meetings emphasizing self-advocacy and community living.

    Qualified candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills, experience working with adolescent boys 6-12th grade in either an educational, residential, or human service background. Flexibility while working as a team is a must. This position is to serve each week approximately 25 hours between Sunday-Thursday afternoon/evening.

  • Full Charge Bookkeeper (part-time)



    The Greenwood School is looking for a part-time bookkeeper to provide support to the Director of Finance and Operations.

    Responsibilities:
    • Full-cycle processing of Accounts Payable
    • Posting student account charges and generating monthly statements
    • Bank and investment account reconciliations
    • Credit card management
    • Backup for payroll processing (Paylocity) and benefits administration
    • Other duties as assigned
    Requirements:
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
    • A minimum of five years of relevant experience is required, preferably in a nonprofit or educational environment
    • Proficiency with Quickbooks desktop software required
    • Human Resource and Benefits Administration experience a plus
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and G-Suite products
    10-15 hours per week to start, with some schedule flexibility.

    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
