At The Greenwood School, we encourage our students to reflect on the values that are important to them, who they want to become as they transition to adulthood, and to engage with the question, “Do my actions match my expressed values?”

We challenge students to think about what kind of people they want to become and what words they hope friends, co-workers, or family members use to describe them. The results are powerful.

Hanging in the main academic building are photographs of our students’ responses to the prompt: “I want to be a person who….” These portraits represent Greenwood’s focus on character building along with self advocacy and academics. We are honored to have the opportunity to help guide your children each day on their journey towards adulthood, and we are inspired by their remarkable efforts.
