Greenwood Boys in the News

Students from Greenwood’s eighth grade science class made the news for reading aloud to a group of little ones at the Horizinn Early Learning Program. Each Greenwood boy delivered his own creative home-spun story and illustrations, inspired by his study of plants, animals and organisms.

This culminating event is a perfect example of Greenwood’s integrated holistic approach to education. Aaron, Greenwood’s middle school science instructor, cross-pollinated science, ELA (english language arts), and confidence building, within one ecology unit. It was an all-around success, measured by animated conversation and happy students.
